I blame Lou Dobbs, Howie Carr and Michael Savage for this. In the last decade, they promoted this idea that every problem in this country somehow could be traced back to illegal immigration when in reality it wasn't 1/100th of the problem they said it was. Carr seemed to think in any arrest report of anyone with an Hispanic name the person's immigration status was needed in the report. Michael Savage once complained that when Michelle Obama met with a family of illegal immigrants she had an obligation to have them arrested.
I fail to see the logic in either statement.

Nope. Sorry. The way we talk to each other in this country is absolutely an issue related to politics, especially President Trump. All people like Starman, fart boy and 'yab do is indulge their worst impulses and give ammunition to Republicans who say the Democrats are just as bad. If they can't wrap their heads around the value of civility, they should at least be able to grasp that helping the other side is a bad thing.

 

No one talks much about the liberal threat to free speech.

An example is this (probably) crazy lady who painted racist/nazi graffiti all over OKC. She committed the crime of vandalism yet according to the reporting she was charged with making a terrorist threat.
