Michigan State was still definitely one of the legitimate title contenders that season -- they'd made the Final Four the year before and went into the tournament at 26-7 -- not some goofy out-of-nowhere 8-seed making a run like North Carolina did that year.

I will be very surprised if Texas Tech doesn't win tomorrow night, and relatively handily, too. UVa plays tough defense. Tech plays it ferociously.

If that center is hurt, UVA might use Noble and go a line of Diatke, Noble and Hunter at times. UVA can get very tall and long if they want to and eat you up on the boards and defend the perimeter with that length.
