The migrant crisis here and elsewhere in the world is only a sneak peak at the chaos climate change will be bringing around the world in the next decade. Think about all of the third world populations who live in poverty and the lowlands of their countries who will be moving inland and across borders when their lands are no longer tenable. Throw in a calamitous natural disaster like a typhoon, hurricane, volcano and earthquake and it will make the current situation look like weekday at Disneyland.

 

Think about the kind of people that DO work for the President. You could argue that they're patriots - protecting our country from the President's worst impulses (I'd love to hear about the moves they stopped) but mostly I think they are like the people who want the "title" the business card, the posting that might help them land a good job after they're fired, or a decent book deal or a higher speaking fee.

 

I wish just one of the people being cast out of the clown car would speak up and say, "Here's what people need to know ...."

Trump aides targeted in corporate blacklist effort by immigration, civil rights groups

As outgoing Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen looks for her next job following her resignation Sunday, she may find herself battling a liberal blacklisting effort against those who've served in the Trump administration.

Other current and former Trump administration officials targeted include John Kelly, the former White House chief of staff, and Sarah Sanders, the current White House press secretary.
