Wow. It sure sounds like you care. I'm not in the habit of telling people to go fuck themselves when I don't care about what they have to say.

I'm not saying you need my approval. I'm mocking you for sinking to the level of the people you oppose. I'm mocking you for using their ugliness as an excuse to vent your own. I'm mocking you for playing into their hands.

You don't like being mocked? Do better. Criticize Nielson for what she did. Criticize President Trump for the way he handled the entire situation. It's a mess. Focus on that rather than making shit up and flinging it against the wall.

 

I agree with your sentiment whole-heartedly. I'm not sure it's necessarily a "Republican" issue or cause, though, but rather a difference between the wealthy, and the not-so-wealthy (not even necessarily the poor).

The problem, as I see it, is that I seriously doubt that the wealthy ever even really look at their medical/insurance bills, to really see and consider the costs of medical needs/coverage. They just pay and move on. Because they can afford to do so.

As you say, though, if you look at the costs, particularly from an every-man's perspective, or if one doesn't have insurance, it can only prompt the support for affordable health care for all. How could it not, given the alternatives, like selling your home, selling everything, and having money mean everything, and be the only thing, when really, you are in a time when it should mean nothing?

The reality is that people simply cannot afford to pay thousands out of pocket, particularly on a continuing basis, in order to offset the criminally, truly criminally, exorbitant/can't-possibly-be-what-it really-costs fees required for medical tests, care and insurance. It is a racket, pure and simple. I don't know how the "business people"/companies in the fields can even live with themselves, honestly, and something needs to be done about it.

 

If only we had someone who could at least act like a president.

Not an organization a President should want to piss off (I have no idea if this guy is liked by the rank and file or not). Not that it would stop protecting him, but if it ever started to spring leaks, hoo boy.
