I don't recall Steve Miller being elected to office, or Trump's surgically enhanced daughter or his waxen son-in-law, either.

Let’s look at the costs of Medicare plus Medicaid plus the cost of all private health care premiums. Deduct of write offs unpaid medical bills and spread the total over every American. What you have is what healthcare costs. Not including VEterans health care. But if you add it in it would be wise. That’s no more taxpayer funds than exist now. Can that pay for health care if you centralize booking keeping and payroll and bill collection, economies of scale for ‘ back room ‘ administration. What the government should mandate is that all Americans have insurance. Not saying that’s the cost is the answer, but that’s the starting point. How much do we really spend now and can we spend the same amount, and include more insureds. Then have tax money pay the insurance rate for catastrophic major medical overages. One less aircraft carrier group. Might do the trick.

In no way would I ever advocate the government substituting running health care. I think insurance companies, regulated, could do better. Because they can fire incompetent staff. Utility companies do better than government. Regional monopolies? Portable insurance. A double write off for employers who pay premiums of their employees. Pay $500 per employee a month, write off $1000 as an expense.

The key is to spread the risk over 325 million people. A rich country can afford to be pro-life. And if that can’t be done, no child should lack the health care that President of an insurance company carries for his or her children.

And the POS has accomplished more in his life than I ever will. What's right about that?

Let's see. Mock and ridicule the guy in charge of the agency whose members are literally asked to die for you, if necessary.

There's only one true karmic payoff for that.
