    Always thought George's mixture of celebrity and politics helped the celebrities more than the politics. Dumbed things down and didn't get into issues so much as personalities. But- Lou Adler (Nicholson's bench buddy at Lakers games) is Darryl Hannah's brother-in-law?

    But if you don't remember the magazine - the oral history does a pretty good job of representing its shallowness. Parties, celebrities, politics - like DC is all one big production and everyone attends the same cocktail parties while the rest of America deals with the fallout of what happens there.
