Don't know. Sure as hell wouldn't in New Orleans.

It's a shitty arena with disengaged owners and mostly disengaged fans.

Not all NBA franchises are created equal.

What does that have to do with New Orleans?

If he went to NO with Davis he wouldn’t have a better chance than going to LA with Davis showing up, maybe, in 2020-2021?

    No.

For starters, New Orleans didn't have anything close to the cap room to sign him, so it's a moot point.

If they did somehow clear the room, it absolutely would have meant trading Jrue Holiday and not signing Julius Randle (and I'm not sure that would have done it).

That leaves you LeBron, Davis, and 10 guys you picked up at Home Depot... playing for a franchise nobody wants to play for.. in a city nobody wants to live in.

    Would never, ever, ever happen.

Grizzlies fire Bickerstaff in major shake-up

When you "clean house" but elevate underlings in the process, I think everyone knows what was going on. I imagine they'll have a hard time finding a GM and a coach who want to have to keep people who have already forced out their predecessors.

That franchise has been a flustercluck since the Vancouver days. And like the Pelicans, will always be second banana.

Always wondered how the Grizzlies could fire Hollins after making it to the conference finals. And all he gets after that is a Brooklyn gig? And he still is only 10 games under .500 for his career.
