To be fair, I don't think there's an American pol alive who isn't glad to see him get arrested, no matter their party affiliation. Personally, I'm conflicted on the man.

The general idea of transparency that he "stands for," is one I agree with. He, however, appears to have monetized and weaponized the information he was able to gather, which I'm staunchly against. I don't think his motives have ever been as pure as he's claimed.

Assange is a hero or a criminal based solely upon how the individual observer views the person/people/organizations who are affected by the information Assange possesses and disseminates on a given day.

The Democratic-led Illinois Senate voted Thursday to compel President Trump to release five years' worth of his personal income tax returns or be barred from appearing on the state's presidential ballot next year.

OMG, that is one of the idiots that Trump picked for the Fed? I have seen him on CNN over the last couple years and I am always taken aback by how slow he seems. This guy is a total boob. I remember when Michael Cohen would be on as a Trump surrogate and my wife and I laughed at how fucking dim he was but this guy is right there with him.
