I have to wonder how large the donation to Vance was.

Remember how critics used to say Obama's cool, detached style was such a problem?

Maybe the Democrats need to stop clustering their tens of millions in a handful of urban pockets, thereby leaving two-thirds of the country wide open for the GOP to elect governors and state legislators.

The 3-elector floor for small states and 538 elector ceiling means that California will NEVER get the 65 electoral votes (and growing) required for "proper" representation.

Fun facts about the states. The 10 largest went 4 for Clinton, 6 for Trump. The 10 smallest split right down the middle. For every North Dakota, there's a Delaware, for every Montana a Rhode Island. What skews Congressional and state legislatures is what always has, the Solid South. It's just solid for a different party now.

    Counties won:

    Trump 2,600
    Clinton 500

Reddish portions were NOT in the South. They were in the Midwest, Big Sky country and rust belt. There's more blue in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina than there is in New York.

Counties are meaningless in American politics. Completely. Here's a stat for you. Trump got more votes in Los Angeles County, where he was routed, than in any state except Florida and Texas.

Democrats want to get rid of the electoral college. I can see the arguments, and it could happen one day.
