I'm assuming Kyrie Irving stays. If so, yeah, that's a team that can fight for a championship, particularly if Durant leaves.

I haven't seen any indication he's staying. If he does, then yeah.

If Leonard stays, they have no chance for a championship.

Siakam and Leonard are the best one-two punch in the East.

Sure, if you completely ignore Giannis and Bledsoe.

Or Giannis and Midds or Giannis and.....

Plus is there any chance that Leonard stays in fucking Toronto?

Sure, there's a chance. They can, after all, pay him the most money.

Uncle Dennis wants him in LA, right?

Smarts, anticipation. Better than vast majority of
Their individual anticipation of plays is the best in the league, so I wish All-D voters would look at this rather than jus blocked shots etc. (I realize Dray was not the best this year)

How many Raptors games have you watched? Seriously? Giannis and Bledsoe are not better than Leonard and Siakam.

So if I haven’t gone full fanboy and watched 82 Toronto games I’m not qualified to judge? Cool.

re: The Davis trade, the Celtics are always mentioned as the frontrunners because 1) a good portion of their roster is oriented toward winning now, between Horford, Irving, Smart, etc. and 2) they have a combination of assets that makes it 'easier' to get a trade done, in some ways. You want all young players and draft picks? They can build something around Brown, Tatum and some picks. You want some more established players? Well, they have Rozier, Smart, Horford, etc.

The Lakers are in trouble because all of their assets have depreciated substantially since the trading deadline. Lonzo didn't play another game because of injuries IIRC, Ingram has an unfortunate medical condition that's going to make any team leery of trading for him, and their other young players either had stagnant or declining performances. I think the Lakers only have their own draft picks, so if you trade them Davis, you figure him + Lebron makes whatever you're acquiring of far less value.

I think there *are* a couple of teams that can offer packages comparable or slightly worse than the Celtics, if they want to get involved, like the Raptors or the Clippers. I'm not sure if the Lakers can get past other teams besides Boston in a Davis deal.

Leonard and Siakam are very good. I don't think Leonard is staying, and I'm not sold on Toronto winning much even if he does.

The best pair in the east is Embiid and Simmons.
