What's your complaint!? The starters are going 4-5 inns? The Giants are batting something like .050 in the 1st inn? The HIGHEST OPS of a regular is .650? Isn't Bochy's goodbye tour enough? Damn bandwagoner..... Yeah I'd rather watch the Leafs in a Gm. 7 too. Although Vlad Jr. is going to be like when Lincecum was first brought up....."what's he gonna do today?"

Angels manager Brad Ausmus ran out of players last night. Yes, 14 innings and unforeseen injury to Cozart.

The game ended with today's starting pitcher warming up in the bullpen.
A pitcher (Cahill) was used to pinch-hit for a pitcher (Bard) after they burned their DH spot. That was the last out of the game.
An outfielder (Bourjos) had to play infield. Shifts had him moving from second base to third base and back.
The eventual winning run got on base after a strikeout when the catcher (Lucroy) made a 40-foot throw that went 10 feet over the head of the first baseman (Pujols).
The manager twice ordered .071-hitting Ford walked intentionally to get to .297-hitting Urshela, who drove in runs both times, including the eventual winner in the 14th.

Worst managing job since Lasorda ran out of players in a September game with expanded rosters.

The Ford intentional walks made the least sense.

I can't blame him for the pitcher stuff -- Cozart got hurt on a fluke play in the 13th inning.

It's more of baseball-think going to a three-man bench to have a bigger bullpen. He used one (Bour) as a pinch-hitter in the 8th with the score tied and a man on first with one out. He used the second as a defensive replacement (LaStella) for the pinch hitter.

He used the third as a pinch runner (Bourjos) in the 13th and scored the tying run with two outs on a play the original runner would not have. So either the game ends there and they lose or it continues. On that play is when Cozart gets hurt. Now if the pinch runner isn't used, Cozart doesn't get hurt because he can't go to third because there is a runner there. But then hypothetically the game ends and the Angels lose anyway.

Ausmus has been using his backup catcher Smith as DH on occasion. That will eventually bite you in the ass, for sure.
Means the team has not been constructed right. GM shares the blame.
    Angels are in shambles.

That loss was all on Lucroy. He missed the ball on a throw to the plate in the third inning when Calhoun had the runner nailed then he messed up the throw on the third strike. And he cost me an hour of sleep because I stayed up til almost midnight to see the end of the game.

The 3rd strike toss was like he tossed an 80 pound grenade while stepping in a fox hole.

The thing is, he has been hitting and looks like their best offseason acquisition (the rest are crap). The throw from Calhoun was a tough hop, but catchers are paid to make those plays.

Like when the Tigers three times in a game against the Yankees walked guys to get to Mike Heath, who got hits each time including the game-winner. Billy Martin walked Heath off the field with his arm around him.
