Such a load of crap - I think other countries know EXACTLY how to deal with Trump. Give him something to tout to the folks back home then take everything else on the table. He likes to tout himself as a "tough guy" but he's sent troops only one place during his term - the Texas border. Trade deficit is going up not down. The one thing about the other countries? They're not dumb enough to brag about how much they "owned" the President, so they can keep on owning him for as long as he's President.

 

He pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal because the prevailing wisdom on the right was that Iran didn't respect Obama and the moment after it was signed they went "Ha, ha suckers!" and just kept on making nuclear weapons.

As if life really works like that.

Never mind that according to the IAEA, Iran was in compliance.

Then he makes a deal with North Korea and they keep on making nuclear weapons.

Russia had a leader-in-waiting to succeed Yeltsin in the late 90s. A very capable prime minister named Yevgeny Primakov. Very popular among the citizens. But he had two things working against him:

1. He spoke out against the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. That pissed off the US.
2. He wanted to bring some government regulation back to the economy, which was unraveling and being looted thanks to the free-for-all environment in the years following the collapse of the USSR. To the US, however, "government regulation" meant a return to COMMUNISM.

So with the US pulling Yeltsin's strings, Primakov had to go. And a search for a replacement that would be "suitable" to the US was under way. Finally one was found: Vladimir V. Putin.
