Whoa. A guy known for taking Hog Mollies goes QB in a hog molly-loaded draft.

Guessing Dave Gettleman and David Cutcliffe have had a conversation or four. Maybe even before Gettleman was rudely run out of Charlotte.

Giants and Raiders probably also think that the long 2 is a good shot.

I was pretty surprised by the Jones pick. Everything I heard this week about the Giants involved them either taking a mid- to late-round flier on a QB or trading for Rosen. Seemed like people thought they'd go defense with their first rounders.

I really don't know why they elected to tie up a huge chunk of their cap in Manning if they were going to take Jones 6th overall. Gettleman is a dumbass.

It’s nice that the Giants finally drafted Manning’s successor. Having a star receiver to throw to would have been nice, though.

Steelers trade up and pick Michigan LB Devin Bush, who's dressed like he would be the villain if the Bond franchise remade "Live and Let Die."

Three in the last 10 years, in 2009, 2014 and now 2019. It's like some sort of satanic ritual they have to do every five years.

Jones strikes me as an owner's pick.

Gettleman really just seems like he's throwing darts in this rebuild, with no real plan to execute.

I don't think the Maras (or Tisch) have ever been known to be meddlesome in that way.

Yup. Never known the Maras or Tisch family to meddle with football operations.

There's a reason they're never confused with the circus acts in Dallas or D.C. ...
