He was actually really good last year. Tied for second in the NFL in receiving touchdowns and made the Pro Bowl.
Too bad it wasn't with the Lions.

Odd - I would have thought Arizona would have made that deal already if presented. Did Miami believe that Arizona wasn't going to take Murray?

With the Cardinals, it's always wisest to wait and see wha they do rather than assume they'll do the logical thing. If Miami figured that any pre-selection trade would be rejected by the Cards as not enough, they were on solid ground.

That’s why I miss having the draft in New York. There are two teams for the fans to go nuts about.

Hearing Giants fans in New York react to the Jones pick would have been epic.

As a UC Davis grad (who was there with Ken O'Brien), O'Brien was selected before Marino (10 picks I believe) but O'Brien turned into an above-average starter who went to the Pro Bowl at least once I think (when that meant something).

Hearing "Fullback Roger Vick" (really a FB?) and "Jeff Lageman" has go to hurt though.

Drew Lock must be thrilled he stayed after his record-breaking junior season so he could regress under the tutelage of Derek Dooley.

Lageman turned out to be a pretty good player, just not someone that you would have wanted to spend a first-round pick on. He was no Mike Haight.

O’Brien had some excellent seasons that could have been even better if he had an offensive line.

NFL Network reported the Cardinals didn’t even start calling teams about Rosen until they were on the clock

phones work both ways. That's really odd - it isn't like the Cards would use Rosen to leverage Murray in contract talks since it the salaries are pretty much set.

Player, school, height, weight, 40 time, police record.
    The standard fare.

He wasn't taking calls or texts either.

The Cardinals are run by idiots. Whenever you start looking for logic you need to circle back to that.
