Caps fans are likely learning, like us Kings fans did, that a Cup in the pocket makes it easier to swallow the bitter taste of a playoff loss the next season.

But since it's been five years since the second Cup and the Kings have regressed to their previous crappy form, the Cup cache has disappeared in LA.

 

They should organize a VGK vs. Saints golf tournament. Winner gets the Pity Party Cup.

 

I can imagine the whining and bitching coming from you if this had been reversed or if the Warriors were eliminated by a shitty call.

 

Interesting. Apparently the two refs who did the Sharks/Knights Game 7 aren’t doing any more games this playoff. One of them (Dan O’Halloran) has been to the conference final each of the last nine seasons.

 

O'Halloran was awful in Game 3 of Caps-Canes. I was not surprised to hear he was involved in the Game 7 mess in San Jose.
