    — What the heck was the library scene? Did several undead killing machines just decide to chill around for a few minutes?

—watching the Dothraki torches slowly burn out was brilliant.

    — so when the dead were standing in front of the fire wall, why was everyone inside just hanging out? Get to the wall. Start shootings arrows. Don’t just be like, “well, that’s all over, what’s for dinner?”

    — i kind of get the undead were stalling at bran’s tree house waiting for the boss man, but that still seemed kind of a made for tv attack.

    — why did the dead seem to go between expert fighters to brain eating zombies every few scenes?

    — They got to the library, nothing to kill and couldn’t figure out how to advance, killed momentum and they slowed down.

    — One of the many great touches in the episode.

    — Limited number of arrows. Battle plan likely called for strafing attacks from the dragons. Probably initially meant to be closer. Don’t waste arrows shooting at what might get burned.

    — Absolutely was. Also was meant to weaken any defenses they might have there.

    — Because in life, some of the dead were expert fighters and some were normal commoners with no training. Carries over, I assume.

I’m optimistically assuming since we didn’t see Ghost die, he’s still alive.

Not shown, but was never seen again after the initial attack. I was kind of hoping ghost was coming back with Numeria and her pack .

Great stuff...only slightly disappointed with the death toll. Would've liked to see a couple other big names go before Arya shivved the Night King.

Insane episode, but as someone noted above, it was exceedingly difficult to actually see a lot of it. For whatever reason, HBO broadcasts always look like shit during dark scenes on my TV. No other channel looks as crappy as HBO. It's weird. I've tried changing the display settings, and dark scenes always look like crap.
