It really doesn't matter anymore if the Senate will convict or not. It's imperative that the President be impeached. If we're just going to allow this type of malfeasance because "we won't win" or because "It's too close to the election (which is a year-and-half away)" then no future President will think twice about doing the same. They'll know they just need one house of Congress on their side and they're good to go.

Impeach the motherfucker, and do it posthaste.

Yeah, he'll go after him. Probably try and stop him from testifying. But I'm betting Mueller will tell Trump to go fuck himself.

Everything else aside, the fact that Barr debased himself by shilling for Trump to try to get 2 hours of positive press before the report came out is just mind boggling.

Especially when it became obvious within the first 15-20 pages of the report that not only had he lied in the press conference, he lied in his four-page summary about Mueller's findings.

The Southern Baptists will turn on him long after McConnell and his cronies do, which is to say never.

The AG committed perjury. Lied about not knowing what Mueller thought about his "summary." Mueller letter sent two weeks before Barr's testimony.

The top cop in the U.S. lying to Congress and the American people. All to protect the scumbag in the oval.

Nice career move there, Billy Barr.

Mueller won't tell Trump to do anything. Nobody ever does.

Actually, it will turn out to be an excellent career move. He will suffer no consequences for his crimes. He'll get to skate out of the job and go into some Fox News gig in which he will be compensated royally in return for his service to the one whom Trumpist Christians call heaven-sent.
He will not be impeached. He certainly won't be removed from office. He will be a hero to Trumpists forever.

Infrastructure spending is badly needed. Poor to no maintenance for decades in many cases, often due to budget cuts.

I'm just wondering where the two trillion is going to come from, particularly after the Trump tax cuts.

Not only that, but Mueller's summaries came through vetting completely untouched. No redactions. Barr could have released those as soon as he had read the report. Instead he wrote one of his own, full of slant and topspin.
