Trump and his people were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

Forget riding in the Bronco. All O.J. had to do is tell the LAPD to stop investigating him.

My congressman. Knows a little something about criminal law - his dad was Rhode Island's top organized crime lawyer for ages.
Has a lot of enemies...the homophobes and anti-Semites fly out of the woodwork whenever he speaks about ANYTHING.

Oh, please. They couldn't care less about the morality of racism and lining their pockets.

Gosh, if only people hadn't used a report commissioned by GWB to slime Obama folks wouldn't have turned a blind eye to the possibility of these things happening.

An English word for that theory: rubbish.

Fuckboy and his GOP henchmen are slashing funding for virtually every other function of the government which serves to the benefit of non-billionaires. So it is indeed taxpayer-, or citizen-, funded.

It's not like it's new or shocking. Barr wouldn't even be the first AG to go to prison. There was John Mitchell and wasn't Harry
We've already had an AG go to prison, John Mitchell. It wouldn't even be novel, let alone some travesty of justice. If Barr is conspiring with Trump to obstruct justice, he could go down.

Stuff like this Barr shit this morning. This is what the Democrats' message needs to be, not hours of debate on whether prisoners should be allowed to vote.

The idea that criminal proceedings would place an undue burden on the president's ability to govern is preposterous.

FIRST OF ALL, as with any citizen, any indictment against a president would have to survive a demonstration of probable cause at a preliminary examinations.

NEXT, if a court found probable cause sufficient for trial, a president has access to literally world class legal representation. Presuming the subject in question had established a reputation as a responsible client who cooperated with counsel and makes sure his bills are paid, high-powered legal firms would stampede to represent him.

NEXT, if a court did find sufficient cause for trial and set bail, the president has access to tons and tons of cash and presumably could easily handle any bail.

    So what's the problem?
