Why didn't Ned Stark come out of his crypt with the rest of the others down there? Isn't he buried there (don't recall)?

Last I heard his head was on a spike on a wall in King's Landing. He has a crypt and a statue, though. Dunno.

I thought his body and head were returned some time after Joffrey's death. Maybe that's just in the books?

May be. I don't recall it on the show. I remember articles a season or two later saying that the head was still up on the wall, though.

Littlefinger brought Ned's body to Cat in her tent in Robb's war camp.

I knew there was something about returning his remains. Thanks.

Did the remains from the Red Wedding slaughter get returns? I know they desecrated Robb's body with his direwolf's head, but were his and Cat's bodies ever returned to Winterfell? Joked with my wife about her rising from the dead finally since it happened in the book, but now that I think about it, she likely wasn't even there.

Yeah Book Cat was chucked into the river. I'm guessing they did something similar for Rob's remains.

Littlefinger returned Ned's remains to Cat, and Cat sent them back to Winterfell with some silent sisters, but I can't recall if they ever actually made it there.

My in-laws had a theory (based off the lady stoneheart stuff) that when the stark dead rose they would serve bran instead of the night king.

That would've made for an interesting twist in the battle for sure.

Emilia Clarke has been quoted as saying that episode 5 is another huge battle. That sets up as Ep. 4 as politics, war planning, and moving on King's Landing (or the Lannister army meets the army of the North/Khaleesi on ground of their choosing in between). Ep. 5 is another big battle. Ep. 6 is aftermath and someone sitting on that uncomfortable seat of swords. Three more crazy episodes to go.

Do any of the major kings have kids? No Lannisters, no Targaryens, so Starks, etc.

Just thinking that if you kill off about 8 people, all of the great houses are done.
