Nancy Pelosi says she's currently not for impeaching Trump because "that would be the easy way out." Isn't that actually an argument for doing it? Who doesn't like the easy way out?

That wasn't happening. There were clear signals from Joni Ernst and others that the votes were not there. This was the usual Trump WH hire - make the nomination or float the name before doing any vetting or oppo research on the candidate.

 

The actions of both Trump and his WH point to their thinking exactly that.
