It was someone they don't need for the end of the story and clearly tonight was all about ruining potential happy endings. There were four romantic/sexual relationships that went to shit in one episode. That's dark even for this show.

I was also left wondering why Dany didn't circle around and torch the ships from behind. Then again, this show is all about the "good guys" doing stupid shit.

I was also kind of disappointed in Bronn. I don't know that I ever figured him to be a Han Solo type, but I didn't think he'd turn on Tyrion for money.

That must have been a cool moment for those that have watched all alkng.
Yeah, when a huge show has their finale, I usually pop in now and then to see what all the fuss was about.
Haha, I knew about Walter White before I started to watch Breaking Bad.

That was a perfect reply. I may get around to watching in the future.

Looks like the anti-dragon works on a swivel? Though, it does appear, they would crack their own ships that way? And, of course, Dani wasn’t thinking straight right then after losing her second child?

However, night time attack makes more sense imho. Dragons swoops in, fries the ships, takes off without them seeing.

when Brienne woke up and saw Jamie missing, my wife quickly condemned him for going back to Cersei. I immediately said that he was going to kill cersei. At the gym this morning, opinions on that scene split the same way. Guys were immediately pro Jamie and they said their wives were anti Jamie. My sample size only is three couples, but out of curiosity, anyone else have this breakdown?

For the record, I think he is going to kill Cersei, but knows he will die trying or kill himself immediately hence his actions toward Brienne.

From this couple ... JR had no opinion, I think he's going to kill Cersei or die trying.

I actually thought it was true to Bronn's character. On some level, he likes Tyrion and Jaime, but he also knows high-born men like them have shit on people like Bronn for years. He did a good job of calling them for their crap during the scene.

I have a larger issue with Brienne's reaction to Jaime. I get that having sex for the first time would change things for her, but still, the proper response in character would have been for her to deck Jaime before letting him leave, not stand there crying.

I'm not sure how I feel about Sansa crediting all the abuse she has taken for making her the woman she is now. Maybe it is an empowering moment for her. Maybe it's too accepting of such abuse.

Missandei's last word was perfect for the character.

If he had, Jaime would have had a crossbow bolt in his chest before Bronn and Tyrion started to talk. He did a very Bronn thing - he took Cersei's wagonload of gold and then took Tyrion up on his "I'll double it".

That said, I was disappointed in him too, and I wonder why he thinks that he'll get away with it in the long term. "A Lannister always pays his debts" is all well and good,, but it also means that they will repay treachery with treachery.

I think he realizes how vulnerable the two of them really are at this point. He also knows he can kill either of them, or even both at the same time, if it comes to a fight.

Basically, in that context, that single word translates as "Burn them. Burn them all!". That may not be what Missandei meant, but I guarantee that's what Dany heard.
