To be in the know and try to look smart. Ya know, assholes.

I'm sure that's how it is for some people. For others, they just can't wait to find out how it turns out. It's more a matter of impatience than assholishness.

I'd have been disappointed if you or somebody else hadn't gone there.

Did anyone else notice Podrick hooking up a threesome in the background of one of the scenes during the big celebration? I wasn't paying attention and my wife pointed it out. Pod's "magic cock" paying off again.

    Yeah saw that.

I'm guessing we're done with Pod. Brienne seems like she's gonna stay in Winterfel, and thus Pod would remain at her side. You'd think his arc calls for a knighting at some point, if he's not going to die.

I don't think we're done with the characters left behind at Winterfell at all. Maybe Tormund because he headed back north of the wall.

And Ghost, who managed to save the Lord Commander back in Season 1 and then never do anything significant again.

Also Melisandra, because she didn't survive the snap.

SHOWRUNNERS TO GHOST: Listen, boy, we know you want to stay around and help Jon, and we know we're kinda making him a dick for kicking you to the curb, but your CGI is way more expensive than we expected and, well, we got dragons to pay for. So go north where you've never lived and try to survive in the wild after living your life domesticated for the most part.

Didn't one of the showrunners make a comment suggesting the direwolves still have a significant role to play? I think that was more in reference to Nymeria's pack than Ghost. It is disappointing that the direwolves were set up as if they would be something important, then didn't really do much at all in the series.

That said, just because Ghost was supposed to go with Tormund doesn't mean he will actually do it.

Ghost helped save the Night's Watch during Watchers on the Wall, and Summer saved Bran during Hold the Door. I'd say they played a pretty decent part.

Book Direwolves seem to be getting set up for a bigger role.

Jon can consciously warg into Ghost. Ayra doesn't realize it, but she can warg into Nymeria.

I've read WAYYYYY too many wolf-dream chapters for that to have almost no meaning.
