The key difference between this and the 80s movie version:

In the 80s movie it would have been Ben Simmons forced to put up the first 3 pointer of his career, and it bounces four times before going in.

Watching it live, it was like, "Oh, it missed. Overti -- Wait, it's still bouncing around!?"

They said on Inside the NBA that it's the first time there's ever been a buzzer-beater game-winner, with no time left when it dropped, in a Game 7 in NBA history.

It was surprising to see Embiid, usually the gleeful troll, crying when it was over. I wonder how much of this he places on himself.

The D on the last play was perfect. That’s why the games don’t end 0-0.

I find Twitter can be a cesspool most times but getting to see all the reactions and that stunning pic are why I love it.

That's got to be one of those all time sports photos. Good God that's amazing.

A shot like that - no way Kawhi can leave now right?

My first thought was that the Clippers are almost as sad as the Sixers.

But really, yeah, he could. Let's see if they make the finals. I think it certainly boosts the chances of him staying, but I'm not going to pretend to have any idea what's going on in Kawhi's head.

I was completely agreeing with you on that, and maybe I still do, but it got topped in the very next post by that Toronto Sun pic.
