If Trump has done nothing else, he has demolished the myth still of course hyped by those at the top of America's ladder, that we're a nation of people somehow both fundamentally decent and freedom loving whose differences are minor. Every day we see that millions of us are in fact hateful horrible people and that millions more are just really stupid, with a significant overlap among those two groups.
