Allowing her to murder a baby would seem to stretch the boundaries of empathy.

If you want to make it that black and white, I guess.

I am pro-legal abortion. I am curious if those here who are anti-legal abortion support reproductive education of children starting around age 11. This would include anatomy and how intercourse works, STDs, condoms, female contraceptives. This would not include gay/trans acceptance indoctrination. Also are you in favor of the cheap/free availability of condoms/birth control say starting in Jr. High?

If not I submit you are more opposed to fucking than you are to abortion.

I posted this a few days ago so forgive me for posting it again. It sums up what I think about abortion.

Empathy is what I'm suggesting we need more of from American voters - a better understanding of how America behaves in the world, and how we're thought of by other countries.

Maybe the cost of American "exceptionalism" should be a heightened sense of our responsibility to others.

I'm not willing to let us off the hook for our ignorance, selfishness and fear.

Beyond belief if this is true.

If the world was “progressive perfect” then women shouldn’t have the right to abort children?

These damn broads. Going out and getting pregnant all by themselves. We should ban the dildos and vibrators that knock these women up.

"The Trump administration aspires to be the first of the post-legal era. It lives by a principle enunciated 2,000 years ago by the Roman jurist Ulpian and relied upon by tyrants ever since: Quod principi placuit, legis habet vigorem. What pleases the prince has the force of law."

Millions already go on humanitarian missions or give aid for such. Our state department extends goodwill globally. Until Trump (I didn’t vote for him) the US annually resettled more refugees than the rest of the world combined. It still resettled more refugees in 2017 than any one nation. This is balanced against in part whatever shitty things America has done and will do.

Your understanding for how America behaves in the world is not immediately clear because your empathy for America is not clear. In other words you seem aware of how America might be loathed because you loathe it. This is partial empathy.
