    Mueller was operating on:

1, the presumption Fatboy cannot be indicted for any crime while he is in office.

2, the presumption, shared by many, that it was highly improper for Comey to have, first, concluded there was insufficient grounds to indict Hillary Clinton, and then launch into an extensive detailed nationally televised discussion of her various activities which sorta kinda looked shifty, but none merited indictment.

But Mueller has! So if Trump’s folks are sitting on it, he is, too - right?

We've been over this, Alma. I don't mean you and I specifically, but the board had this discussion. Seriously, why are you turning yourself into YankeeFan?

Alma doesn’t have YF’s edge, though.

This circular firing squad shit some liberals are doing is ridiculous. They also don't seem to understand that the party doesn't pick the nominee. The primary and caucus voters do.

In 2016, there was no way the party could have tossed out the primary results and gone with Sanders because he polled better against Trump. And Donna Brazile did not admit the primaries were rigged.

I don't have a clear favorite and I don't know whom I will vote for in the primaries, but I will vote for the Democratic nominee in the general election (Unless Bill Weld is the Republican nominee).

But anyone who votes third party, writes someone in or stays home because they don't like the nominee may as well vote for Trump.

I don't understand the argument for making college free. My father used to send me a receipt each semester for how much my education cost, which was more than $50K per year back in the early 1990s. His way of saying, "See what this is costing us?" My parents were both schoolteachers, so we weren't exactly swimming in money. But they still sent four kids to college and made us pay for very little of it.
If you make college free, then what's next? Guaranteed employment? Free transportation? It's a very socialist attitude, IMHO.

College isn't for everyone. Nor should it be. I don't think that's elitist; I think that's practical. Ya know, like majoring in English literature like I did...

    Yay for industrial socialism!

Fiat Chrysler gets green light to build $1.6 billion Detroit auto plant

"The company is getting tax breaks and 215 acres (87 hectares) of adjacent land the city had to acquire. The land and site preparation deals are about $108 million, with Detroit and the state splitting it about equally. Included in the $223 million state incentive package — which was made public for the first time only minutes before its approval by the Michigan Strategic Fund board — is $55 million for site preparation and $168 million in tax breaks, exemptions and cash."

Did that number include everything? It was a long time ago but I think UW-Madison tuition and fees was just about a $1000 (maybe a tiny bit more) a year during early 80's. My apartment was an amazing one right next to campus/State St and maybe that was $300 a month, just guessing. I ate on my own and $25 a weekend got me as drunk and stoned as I could handle and I could handle plenty.

I coached hoops at a local D3 this season and I can not imagine paying what it costs to attend this place. Admittedly not a great recruiting pitch but a real eye opener for me. The cost of college is a disgrace.

I don't think it included room and board. I think that was just tuition. Vanderbilt was an expensive-ass school, even back then. Needless to say when I told my folks I wanted to transfer from Richmond (which was like $11,000 and always considered one of the best bargains) to Vandy, they were totally supportive...

Kidding, they were. But that also was a factor in my dad always sending me the tuition receipts.
