AEW, in my view, just needs to be good pro wrestling. Cut the HHH crap, the inside references, who cares. Its all a little too late stage Russo WCW/ VKM TNA for me.

Dont book to the smarks, book to the casual fan who thinks WWE isnt cool anymore. Bringing in those people, who wont get your WWE references, is the key is the key to growing the biz.

Dont get me wrong, they can succeed doing what theyre doing. Broken Hardys had plenty of inside references and was awesome. But to be truly revolutionary, they gotta reach people for whom those digs will be quizzical and meaningless

 

I don’t know if it’s just me, but this puts it in real perspective how big Andre the giant really was:

 

Bruno also was just 5-10. Vince Jr. would have thought he was too short.

Andre was supposedly around 6-10, but would wear lifts in his boots and was billed at 7-4. He shrank by the end of his career because his back was so bad.
