Maybe, but they don't have the votes to convict. If President Trump is impeached, but not convicted, that would just give him an excuse for another victory lap.

 

Which he's already taking anyway, so why not at least go on the record and impeach him?

 

If it was so obvious that Trump is innocent, why do they need to constantly repeat themselves?

This makes me sick. Trump shit on the entire military with this dick move. I know the narrative will be he didn't know his staff was going to do this but he created this kind of atmosphere and the fact that they believed he would have wanted it this way is enough.

This is how I imagine this went down:
Dude wakes up and asks himself, "What is the most incredibly stupid thing I could possibly do today? Reply to that email with my banking information so my Nigerian uncle can wire my inheritance?
