How many tens of millions is Wilder going to be lighter with this result?

Andy Ruiz cost Wilder at least $50 million.

No, Tyson/Douglas was bigger. Tyson was the consensus top guy in the heavyweight division and had an aura of invincibility that I don't think Joshua had. While I think most people thought Joshua was the top heavyweight, there was no true consensus between him, Wilder and Furey. Joshua had been knocked down before this fight. A few guys had taken Tyson the distance, but none competitively at that point. In Ruiz's only loss, he was very competitive with Joseph Parker and maybe deserved to win. I'd like to see a rematch of that fight before Ruiz/Joshua II, BTW.

We have a heavyweight champion of the world who looks like a trump supporter, but potus will never care.

I have never seen a fighter revealed more abjectly, more completely than Anthony Joshua last night.

The only scenario which doesn't paint Joshua as a joke is that he got his brains jumbled with one Ruiz shot in the third round and spent the rest of the fight in a fog.

Hardly Douglas-Tyson for the reasons smallpotatoes mentions, but Joshua looked about as interested at being in the ring at the Garden as Tyson did that night in Tokyo. Joshua's trainer had a much bigger sense of urgency than his fighter did, he could certainly see how things were going.

Ruiz did channel a little of Tyson at his best as he moved in his with his hands up, moved his head and effectively outjabbed the bigger man.

Andy Ruiz doesn't look at all like a heavyweight contender, but he does go about his job like one.

Spot on, that, he may look like Butterbean, sure as hell doesn't fight like him. Wasn't overawed by the moment or his opponent and didn't seem at all fazed after that knockdown. Joshua is the one who came apart at the seams shortly after that.

The 1980s crop of heavweights like Greg Page, Tony Tubbs, Tim Witherspoon and James Broad would like a word.

“OMG! OMG! I cannot believe this S$&@$! Anthony Joshua — holder of 3 belts, gets TKO’d by Butter Bean.......I mean some dude named Andy Ruiz JR. What a damn disgrace. Joshua looked completely gassed! More fatigued than hurt! Now how in the Hell did you let that happen? How?“ said Joshua’s girlfriend
