Yeah, we know. Polls that show you are behind are FAKE NEWS. Polls that show you are ahead are triumphs of accuracy in media.

    You shitgibbon.

Parts of Buffalo (West side, Grant Street and Hertel Avenue ) were being revitalized, in part by immigration of about 20,000 new residents from Burma, Bhutan, Somalia and Iraq. But the immigration-law changes under Fucko have slowed that to a crawl.

if you've lost your ability to earn a living to support your family due to illegal Central and South American immigrants you weren't that important to the economy or the nation in the first place. For the rest of middle America, illegal immigrants helped boost the nations economy by keeping the price of goods and services down including food and home construction. If you are worried that illegal immigrants are taking your tax money, you aren't paying taxes.

in short, if you work for a living and are anywhere north of 150% of the poverty line, illegals are good for america. if you're below that, try and replicate that illegals' work ethic.

    Shocking Mitch is divorced.
All these good Christian men in the GOP and few of them seem to be able to honor a wedding vow.

It's a really, really interesting discussion. Service economies love refugees, and they're apt to start small business that provide services or goods (like food). Whether that materializes, long term, into continued revitalization and robust cities, we'll see. Will second and third generations view the service economy and small business as palatable when they're not coming from civil war-torn and poverty-stricken countries? What opportunities, post the manufacturing boom, will there be? Will it gentrify because the cools want to live there?

I find this post...regrettable...but not inaccurate. No, I think this is pretty much what most wealthy conservatives and progressives essentially think, but wouldn't say, because to say it so plainly - to set the rules of the game like that - creates the incentive for another strongman to come in and preach an even more bitter version of nationalism than Trump does.

But, yeah, "we're better than you, so eat shit" is more or less the message being sent, year over year, in nicer, patronizing terms.
