This has to mean a setback to Stanton or judge, or another trade of Frazier, or maybe even voit.

Or you put Stanton in left and Gardner on the bench

    And Frazier on the bench.

Frazier goes back to Triple-A until he gets traded for pitching

Sanchez catching and Stanton in left every day would not be kind to the pitching staff, would it?

So no other team needed a 1B/DH in the AL at the cost of a fringe pitching prospect?

OF defense is over rated these days where 34% of all plate appearances result in a strikeout, walk or homerun.

Turning outs into extra-base hits still matters.

Without a doubt he's on the spectrum.

Frazier isn’t exactly Willie Mays out there. His defense has been downright terrible, though he’s young enough to improve.

He is, however, clearly a Major League hitter. He’s gotta be pissed about getting sent down.

Honestly, I forgot about that. Frazier really is terrible in the outfield.

Padres beat the Rockies 14-13 today to cap a wild four-game series in Colorado. The teams combined for 92 runs, which is the most in a four-game series since 1900. They also had 131 hits between them. Colorado's Charlie Blackmon had 15 of those, which is also the most in a four-game series since 1900.

Padres, Rockies break 4-game series runs record
