So is AOC’s use of “concentration camps” a way to minimize the Holocaust? Is she giving a wink to her large Muslim base that she is “with” them against the Jewish?

I would never have called them concentration camps. That term is far too loaded. It's not appropriate even though it is technically accurate.

 

This is why Democrats lose. Instead of focusing on Trump, dumbasses like Booker and Sanders attack Biden for saying he managed to work and get along with two people he didn't agree with.

Not, "Oh wow, what a concept!" but "You have to BEEEEE SORRRRRY for saying you worked with them."

 

We can ask that question. With the understanding it's not a very smart question.

But oop is correct. It's a loaded term now, even if used accurately.

I give you credit for actually addressing the issue. A lot of people on the left are refusing to say that. It’s the hypocrisy hobgoblin. The left want people to understand that words are loaded. That is a good thing. But when one of the left’s most popular rising stars makes a pretty major error, the knives come out in defense. It’s trumpian, but on the other side of the fence.

 

To me, that defense of AOC is the same as when modern Republicans claim it was their party that ended slavery. It’s true, but it bares no relevance to the modern day.

When people say concentration camp, they think of nazis. The left can’t have it both ways.

 

Was it an "error" or was it code for her Muslim buddies that she's with them in wanting to kill all the Joos? Inquiring minds want to know.
