Amnesty opens the door to a very specific, protected class of people deciding who gets to become citizens based on whether they're willing to live at a lesser standard than everyone else. It could be seen as codifying exploitation.

Viewing my faith primarily through the lens of the government laws where I live is, to me, a small lens for my faith. It presumes greater and lesser Christians based on economic standing or national citizenship and it presumes that social media and the Internet change the trajectory of faith impact to the largest possible issues in the largest possible way. Undocumented immigrants are in our church. I welcome them and love them and pray for them. Refugees are in our church. We help them try to learn English. If each church loves its own neighborhood, its own neighbors, its own cities, that adds up. The same is true for abortion, incidentally. Best thing Christians can do is serve and support teen moms. Best thing. If that teen mom thinks she can pull through and raise her son or daughter, maybe another is open to the same support and help. Maybe.

Because, of course, Christians have asked me how I square my vote for Obama twice and Clinton with my perspective on abortion. And there are answers to that, too.

 

Go read Breitbart comments. They're, every last one, in favor of Moore running. That's who's in favor of this decision.

You have to love the "No surveillance footage from the dress room??" As it that proves anything. What kind of creep would surveil a dressing room.... Oh, nevermind. I guess the guy who proudly stomped through teenage girls' dressing rooms would think it's damning for there not to be such footage.

No worries. This is a state full of extremely nice people, many of whom hold reprehensible views. It can be... difficult.
