This sort of thing is exactly why I reject West Coast Hollywood elitism™️ and watch Stephen Colbert, instead.

Thanks. Would Tom Sellek be considered "Hollywood Elite"? Clint Eastwood? Dennis Miller? Chuck Norris? Chachi? Or do you need to "hobnob with prominent liberal celebrities" to qualify in noted Democrat Alma's estimation? To be clear, I am not a big Kimmel fan but I thought he was spot on highlighting our healthcare system's failures towards those not blessed with riches.

    It means nothing.

It's a phrase to rile up the suckers and the dopes.

Same thing with "East Coast elites."

Of which, presumably, a "billionaire" living on 5th Avenue would be one.

I agree so it seems so strange that a noted Dem like Alma would so gleefully use the phrase. Unless Alma hasn't really voted for Dem.....NO, stop it Badger...

More smart successful people are center left than center right. I bet the net worth of the blue states is greater than the net worth of the red states. And if you exclude the wealth inherited , the left is wealthier than the right. But those who inherit are more protective of what they didn’t earn than those who actually earned it.

The gaslighting gets old. I'm not lying about who I've voted for. I don't claim you voted for someone you didn't.

I will raise a beer in honor ... not his honor ... but in honor of the moment.

    Alma likes to challenge stuff.

There are no conservatives on here for him to challenge. So he can either chase his tail like a bored dog, or challenge certain things from the other side that pique his interests.

    It ain't complicated.

Oh I know. That is why I stopped short. But if you would like to doubt my voting record I will give you ammo. I voted for Ronny twice, Daddy Bush twice, W once, Tommy Thompson numerous times and I was leaning McCain before he brought Palin on board. That move insulted my intelligence so much that I took a long look in the mirror and realized I had nothing in common with what now passed as the Republican party. To be honest I also now don't feel real proud of ny pre-2008 voting record.
