Can you imagine being on Biden's staff and trying to get him to take debate prep seriously? He's already done a million of this things. I'm sure he's happy winging it.

What about Williamson trotting out the JFK references? The youngest people who were alive when Kennedy was president are in their mid-50s.

Who gets Biden's support? (I'd anticipate a drop down to 15 percent support) Warren? Harris seems like a natural, but considering the body blows she landed on him, I doubt they immediately jump to her.

This is the list. Any combination of these four in a ticket of two would be pretty great. I kind of like Pete as a vice for either Harris or Warren.

Sanders had a terrific final salvo. He otherwise struggled for a good 80 minutes.

Biden’s was OK. He’s old man. He’s not who he was in 2008.

Harris rambled; she’s better reacting than creating.

Buttigieg was very sincere. Good guy.

Harris will be widely viewed as the winner. The mainstream media will love her and Twitter will too. But she probably earned some detractors too.

Trump would love - love - to debate Kamala Harris. He’d want that debate war. He may lose that war. But he’d want it. Harris

And I want to underline something about Harris. The Berkeley School district integrated in 1968. Harris, born in 1964, presumably started school in 1969.

    Biden didn’t become a senator until 1973.

While of course Harris doesn’t have to be directly affected by the busing issue to bring it up, remember how she framed the issue - her personal story in juxtaposition to Biden’s opposition to busing.

Give it 3-4 debates. More to the point: Let’s see all four of those on the same stage. We’ll see if Harris is quite as beloved when she goes after Warren on an issue that isn’t 45 years old.

When you open with "I don't believe Joe Biden is racist.....but" you know you are in for some fireworks. And Harris HAD to go after Biden on race issues because he has a big chunk of support from black voters that Harris needs to be competitive - she needed to pry them away from him.
