Surprising only for the timing of the release: Megan Rapinoe said, "I'm not going to the f---ing White House." President Trump responds by inviting the team via Tweet, which she also said wasn't going to happen.

When he said “now” in the tweet, I wonder if he meant “not”

Rapinoe has recovered from two ACL surgeries. I think she can handle anything fucko can throw at her.

Too bad Christine Sinclair didn't relocate to the US after playing at UP. Imagine how great she'd be playing with the US team's talent instead of Canada's.

Bob Ley was a fantastic soccer host and obviously had a great love for the sport. The 2010 and 2014 World Cups were among the best events that the network has ever done.

Agree with all of this. Naturally FIFA couldn't wait to give the rights to Fox for some extra dough to steal.

Rapinoe is the best player on the US and it isn't even close.

She’s a great passer and set piece taker. But she doesn’t have the wheels

France had a throw-in right at the end of the half in the U.S. end. The player taking it took nine steps forward, eventually reaching the top of the box, before she finally threw it in. It didn't go out anywhere close to where she threw it in from.
    Is that legal and normal?

I know players wander on throw-ins, but that was just ridiculous. She had the ball over her head and just kept going ... and going ... and going. She probably gained at least 10 yards from it.

They do it until the ref stops them.
