A great pass and a lucky bad pass and Rapinoe has 2.

It just feels like France has more than held its own outside the box, but the U.S. has the finisher(s).

France has 2 shots on goal in 75 minutes, and i am not sure about one of those.

France with 60 percent possession. They get shut down inside the box.

That was a beautiful play and maybe 6 inches offsides.

Lots of not great and unforced not great passes and turnovers once there too.

I thought that was coming at some point. Still up.

A bit surprised that they're bringing Lloyd on in a protect-the-lead situation.

    Great clock killing by Morgan.

US played a very smart game on the back line.

Fox doing a great job of cheerleading for the US. Probably shouldn't show shots of the studio hosts celebrating like crazy following a goal if you hope to provide "fair and balanced" coverage. Obviously a US-based broadcast is going to have US-centric coverage but it's bordering on the ridiculous.

That offside that negated the third goal certainly merited a review, no? And - her end of game plays notwithstanding - has Alex Morgan disappeared from this tournament? Hasn't done much lately.

You sure it wasn’t reviewed? The VAR team had time during the France sub at the next dead ball and maybe reported that the call was correct.

I didn't see this one, but when an England player scored a goal last week, they showed a replay of a studio host doing some sort of 'googly eye' celebration with her hands... like four times. I have zero idea why networks think we are interested in their studio hosts' rooting interests, or reactions to plays on the field. Another one is networks having a lipstick cam on the broadcasters, then showing the broadcasters' reaction to plays. The instrument hasn't been invented to capture how little that I the viewer cares about the broadcasters' reactions.

It was reviewed and it looked to be correct by an inch or so.

Any idea why the US handball in the penalty area wasn't reviewed?
