I didn't know it was possible, but I just got a yellow card during this Costa Rica-Mexico game. Any one else get one too?

Only after I got a very large neck tattoo and missed a PK.

Their fate is similar to that of shirts swapped at the end of a game. Some go in display cases, especially from high-profile games. Most probably end up in a storage closest in the FA offices' basement.

    Damn, this drives me crazy.
Take a girl to a hockey game, try to explain offsides and icing. She wants to know how they make the flag wave during the national anthem.
Guys gets a hit. He and the first baseman exchange a couple of comments. "What are they saying?"

... and on and on and on ...

    The flag question...hmm.

The other one's pretty good, actually.

I was hoping the player of the match got it.

I kind of love the US and England playing in the semis on July 2nd (in France no less, hope we can count on the Frenchies to support us again).

“Alexander Hamilton’s not walking through that door, fans. Hercules Mulligan is not walking through that door, and the Marquis de Lafayette is not walking through that door. And if you expect them to walk through the door, they’re going to be grey and old. What we are is young, exciting, hard-working, and going to improve. People don’t realize that.”

England has villainized the USWNT. That won't go well. I'm guessing it won't be all that close.

It probably won't be close. That being said, I know Americans generally don't give a shit about world perception of them, but holy God, the USWNT and their media apologists are unbelievably tone deaf. The French are gonna support England tomorrow. Think about that.

What a non-story. Obviously, Phil Neville learned nothing from Sir Alex when it comes to mind games
