While everyone's watching London, nothing happening through five at the Trop.

Update: Never mind, nothing to see here.

I'm certain millions of people in Great Britain are thinking: "You desecrated the hallowed pitch at Wembley for this? And why exactly do the Yanks think this is a superior game to cricket?" And I'm inclined to agree.

Wasn't at Wembley, London Stadium is transformed Olympic Stadium. For another opinion, my wife Alice said she thought a slugfest was more of an appealing sale to people who don't know baseball than a pitcher's duel. She could be right.

    Go ask Alice
    I think she'll know

Seriously, if you don't know all the ins and outs of pitch placement and defensive strategy, a 2-1 purists' delight pitchers' duel is an absolute bore fest.

Sox scored 21 runs in two games. Lost both. As Peter Abraham of the Globe notes, Boston bullpen gave up 24 earned runs in its last 13 innings of work.

It's appropriate he's a former Dodger, because apparently they don't know the difference between an ocean and other bodies of water, either.
