I believe that just like Nixon, once there are hearings and people hear the whole story, chances of impeachment go up. I read that the Nixon tapes were not discovered until the hearings. We may even get more info than we have now.

Please stop saying----everyone who does---- that we need a bombshell. We have already been bombarded with evidence. He has to be impeached, for the one reason that really matters...we can't let a president act the way he did with no consequences. It's all there in the report it just need to be out in the open, on TV for Americans to see and hear.

 

As I told my mom the other day, things will (maybe) change when all the Boomers — her included — are dead and gone. Even then, I have concerns.

The increasing white supremacist bent of our police forces and military, not to mention the unapologetic racists in their ranks, will have to be reigned in by civilian authority if the U.S. is to be a viable state going forward (I'm thinking 50-100 years, not just the next five). Will there be the will or ability to do that? I don't know.

It just amazes me that the same country that helped defeat the real, murderous, evil Nazis is embracing them in too many corners. Of course, we welcomed many of the Nazis to help build the military industrial complex after WWII, but christ god almighty, enough needs to be enough.

I'll not be converted at the point of a spear or the barrel of a gun. Infidel forever.
