    The NDA in exchange for the insurance sounds very iffy. If they gave the employees a release in exchange for severance in which the consideration for the release is the payment of COBRA, that’s fine. If they told employees that you are still employed but the only way that you keep you insurance is to sign an NDA, that’s a no-no.
