That PK was terrible. A gigantic gag.

Yes it was. But she didn't take it. England have missed three PKs in a row, she took none of them.

My bad. I thought White took it.

She got the penalty, is the best striker, some say, in the tournament, and she didn't take the PK?

My favorite of those types of celebration was in 2002, when South Korea celebrated a tying goal against the US with some sort of speed skating celebration because Apolo Anton Ohno won a gold medal over some South Korean by DQ. No one in the US had any idea what he was doing or cared about it.

Teams have PK contests in practice, to determine who should take them. Apparently others have performed better. Still, surprising, especially after the two earlier misses (by a different player). Alex Morgan doesn't take them for the US, either.

90 minute lightning delay for the USMNT-Jamaica. Going to be a late one in Nashville.

Jamaica trying to climb back into it.

The U.S. men must have watched their female counterparts. Blitzed Jamaica from the opening kick, got some nice buildup and scored quickly, which had to help psychologically before the weather delay.

Now the Americans have to hang on. Jamaica is not going away quietly.

I figured it was some Harry Potter thing, it being England and all.

It was screaming for a Roy Jones Jr. celebration in return.

I always enjoyed the Nigerian celebration where the goal scorer acted like a dog and pretended to urinate on the corner flag.
