The Padres better hope Trammell turns into as advertised because they are bringing up the rear in this one.

What are the Reds doing? Bauer won't stay past next year, and they most likely won't be good by then, so this just seems like a waste of Trammel.

Said it before and I'll say it again: Fuck Puig. Dude is a cancer.

As a Reds fan, I loved the guy. Everyone knew he'd be a short-timer in Cincy yet he embraced the city and, needless to say, would go through a wall for anyone on the team. The Reds would have been in last place with or without him, but it was a fun few months.

And an underrated part of that brawl last night: ballpark PA playing "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling."

Astros also picked up Aaron Sanchez who has had a looong 2 1/2 years but who’s looked decent his last two starts.

Tigers ship Castellanos to the Cubs for two A/AA arms. They weren't getting anything else for him, so what the hell.

I think Castellanos should hit well in Wrigley.

Looking at the ages of the guys in the Greene and Castellanos deals, the "plan" is starting to take shape out of the haze: maybe go .500 in 2021; 2022 is the target year.

    2020? 120 losses.

Puig is the Paul Pogba of baseball. A zero-sum player. His boneheadedness cancels out his great plays.

In other news, the Rangers stand pat. Not surprising at all since they need to fill a new yard next year and they already have two good hands under control in the rotation. I think their play is go money whip Gerrit Cole.

Damn! Remember when the Astros were losing 100 games?
