Something nobody has mentioned, but look at the video of the cops showing up.
I have a real problem with domestic police forces dressed like they are going door to door in Fallujah.
I'm all for safety gear. We have jumped the shark on protecting and serving.

As long as we have folks using ARs and AKs in mass shootings, it seems like a reasonable response.

I am 100 percent convinced that next year, especially if the polls indicate Trump is losing, there will be a mass shooting event outside a Democratic party campaign event, and one or more mass shootings at polling places come November. Not many softer targets than a polling place with a long line outside.

 

Why don’t we call prayers what they really are? “Close your eyes and talk to the invisible man in the sky.” That’s a solution a Fucking 5 year old would come up with.

 

I know it's not new, and as I said, I'm not opposed to safety gear. I don't know why this picture bothers me less than the one you posted.


Maybe it's because they still look like police officers more than military.
Maybe my bigger issue is you see military gear being worn on a day-to-day basis more than you do civilian law enforcement uniforms, not just in SWAT type responses but on regular duty.

 

They also know that silence — combined with their recess — will allow this to die shortly.

Absolutely. If he’s down, he’ll actively encourage his klan to show up in black polling places and display their objects of overcompensation for their insufficient character and other traits.

 

How do these brain-dead, overbred, booger-eating products of married first cousins pass seventh grade Texas history and somehow miss the fact that Texas has always been culturally Hispanic? Why didn't their mothers eat them before they got too big?
