The "video games" wheeze is pathetic. The Republicans aren't even trying. They might as well say "we don't give a fuck who gets killed as long as it's none of our donors." They're not fooling anyone except the fools who watch Fox News and wouldn't mind it if they said what I put in my last sentence.

I've told this story before, but now seems an appropriate time to tell it again.
I belonged to the NRA for a year back in maybe 93 or 94. That's before today's political climate really got out of hand. At the time, I considered pretty far right conservative, not nutjob fascist right but Heston/Reagan right. I wasn't overtly political.
It didn't take long for me to realize reading their literature that the NRA wasn't for me. I let the membership lapse and got a call (by an actual person on a landline, no less) asking why I let the membership expire. I just said, "Y'all are fucking nuts politically."

So, if the NRA was too far out there for someone who considered himself of that mindset nearly three decades ago.... it needs to be destroyed down to the foundations today.
I say that as someone who owns plenty of guns and carries. I actually bought a new shotgun this week. In the box was an NRA membership brochure. I took it out and ripped it to shreds even before taking the packing off the gun.

 

Missed the first segment of the show, but Harris and Beto directly pointed the finger at Trump, with Beto even calling Trump a white supremacist.

 

We know what he did last night. Or did he watch his man on the MMA card?

In two of the most recent such shootings, the shooter has gone down one minute after he opened up. Fifty-four people were shot in those two minutes.

A good guy with a gun would have to also have super speed to react faster.
