John Kasich either needs to run against Trump or stay off tv.

Just how different Trump is from other Presidents is so clear today. All others in my lifetime would already have been on national TV to at the least express horror, sadness and sympathy about two mass murders in one day. Trump doesn't want to do that, and nobody else, including his supporters, wants him to because we're all sure he'd say something on the lines of "very fine people on both sides."

Absolutely correct that any/all other presidents would have expressed their meaningless condolences and horror and sadness and sympathy that don't mean a damn thing because nobody has the guts to change anything anyway. . . . and because too many tens of millions of people DON'T WANT anything to change.

This is going to be a bad week. And it figures to get a whole lot worse.
I agree with Elijah Cummings. The very moment court orders are defied is when impeachment ramps up.

As for the shit stain - just stay on the golf course for the week.

We could ban the sale of these weapons tomorrow - and I think we should - and there’s god knows how many out there to...confiscate? Demand folks turn in?

I write that to write this: The next several years are hard either way on the gun front. Progress has to be made on the hate front. And we don’t have the president to do that.

I fear the next however many of these shootings are gonna be hard to stop regardless of gun laws. The racism and hatred is back to where it was in the 80s...only back then, white supremacists had to, on some level, physically gather to radicalize, and law enforcement had some sense of where they gathered. They can radicalize now via computer screen. They can simmer in this day after day.

Eh, fair enough, but there's a role in being the National Mourner in Chief, too.
