    He wasn't even a star actor on the reality show; it's been coming out he was a lazy stupid unfunny fatfuck, and they had to edit/reshoot around his constant fuckups.

    I'm an optimist and while the bells can't be unrung, I believe their echo will eventually fade. It has to. I'm realist enough to know that it may very well not happen in my lifetime. I believe in the ideals of Jefferson and Madison, so I won't give up on our republic. It has to start next November. I refuse to give up hope.

    Either I am missing the point, or I have just lost all respect for Neil deGrasse Tyson.
    Four of the first five he mentions is either an accident or someone making a choice, not someone making a life-ending choice for them.
