So now some people are trying to say that Trump did not call Nazis "very fine people."

I love listening to FatFuck's audible breathing into the microphone while eating my lunch.

Guns are a big problem and the main problem by a mile.

    Read that again.

Now, that aside, I don’t think certain video games are helpful when consumed at, say, 100 hours per month.

If somebody told me they watched Scarface last night, I’d say, oh, pretty good, and we’d talk about it. If somebody told me they watched it 33 times last month, I’d “oh, wow” that, walk away, and probably wonder if something was wrong with them. Because, honestly, something might be.

And then, if they told me they watched it 400 times in a year, yeah, that’d be pretty strange.

I have a real problem with all of this "mental health" approach to shootings. I know many people dealing with mental illness. In some cases this is depression and/or anxiety and it is making their lives a living hell. Some have gotten help and are doing very well. Others don't have access to mental health professionals and continue to struggle mightily. I also know people and families dealing with bi-polar and other terrible mental illnesses and when they are on their medications things are "OK". But the vast majority (actually nearly every single fucking person) of those dealing with mental health issues do not get a gun and shoot 30 people. The battle to rid our country of the stigma associated with being mentally ill is a challenge to say the least. Every time someone shoots up a crowd I feel we take a step back. We do need better access to mental health professionals and it should be included in any insurance plan. In fact access to mental health help should be a right for all. But mass shootings should not be the driving force. Common fucking decency should lead us in that direction. The productive work hours lost should lead us in that direction. The number of lives, young and old lost to suicide should lead us in that direction. The mentally ill are much more likely to be victims of crimes than they are to be the perps. Fuck the cowards that focus on mental illness post-shootings yet are suing to end the ACA (I realize the ACA doesn't go far enough but I believe you get 3 visits with a mental health provider.) . That is all.

People play violent video games in every developed country on earth.

People watch violent movies and listen to rap, too.

People have mental health problems in all of those countries as well.

And yet we're the only country on earth with a chronic, recurrent mass shooting problem.

    C'mon.
