These ICE raids in Mississippi are truly horrible. These aren't rapists, murders or people bringing drugs across the border. These are people putting food on the table for their families (and ours).

 

The sad part is, I had a guy say essentially this in a conversation the other day. He's a small business owner who raises hell about having to provide coverage, raises hell because fast food pays more than him so he can't hire for minimum wage, and raises hell because people who don't pay as much in taxes get to drive on the same roads because he paid for it. I kid you not; he said that.

On healthcare, I pointed out that it shouldn't be a for-profit industry, and you can't make someone choose between financially ruining their family or dying. His response was, "That' part of life."

 

'Unhinged Shmear' will be the name of my national delicatessen chain.

 

Any Trump voters willing to call him out for his stolen Ground Zero valor yet?
