My wife will literally die if her health insurance is replaced by anything lesser. Her monthly health care is insane, on a retail cost basis.

 

I completely believe it. I am currently recovering from a detached retina, and I can't begin to imagine what the sticker cost of that surgery was. And even with excellent old folk's insurance, one of the eye drops used in the healing process is so expensive and so uncovered by even the best insurance plans that the surgeon just handed me a bottle out of her supply of pharmaceutical samples.

 

You die. That's their replacement plan.

Trump’s hypocritical war on savers

 

He’s as clueless about economics as he is about women, raising families, putting out fires and battlefield tactics.

 

I made my earlier comment out healthcare being for-profit based on something I saw first hand the other day.
I was at the drug store picking up my blood pressure medication. I get three month's worth for $7. Cool.
The man in front of me got to the register, and whatever he was getting rung up to $1,500. He said he couldn't afford that and walked away.
I thought to myself that I hoped I didn't just watch a person make a decision to go home and die because the difference between life and death was out of his price range.
